Alternators for Mercedes 108-109's

One problem with all German cars is the soft rubber mounting for the Bosch Alternators. This rubber mounts usually deteriates over several years, leading to miss-alignment

My solution was to cut some poly-urathane bushings to replace the rubber one. Below is the bushing. Bosch 0-120-400 K1 (RL) 14V 55 A 20

  • The proper Voltage Regulator for this alternator is: RS/AD 1/14V
  • Alternator Speed = 2.4 times crankshaft speed
